Who we are
Jamaican Recipes: Ital ("Ital") is a recipe app featuring 117 plant-based Jamaican recipes — from Ital stew to sorrel — published by Hemiogenic Interactive LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles your information.
What we collect
Nothing. Ital does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
How your information is used
Your saved (favourite) recipes, your taste preferences from the welcome questions, and cook's notes you write exist only to power the app's features on your own phone. They are stored in local storage on your device, they never leave it, and we cannot see them.
Purchases
If a future version of the app offers an optional one-time upgrade, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details. Google's handling of that transaction is covered by Google’s own privacy policy.
Storage & security
All recipes, photos, and features are bundled inside the app and work fully offline. The app does not send your data to any server. Because nothing leaves your device, the data is protected by your phone's own security. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored.
Sharing
We do not share data with third parties, because there is no data to share. The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or social SDKs.
Your choices & deletion
You control everything: favourites and notes can be changed or removed inside the app at any time, and uninstalling the app deletes all locally stored data permanently.
Children
Ital is suitable for all ages and is not directed at children under 13. Because no data is collected from anyone, no data is collected from children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes (for example, if a future version adds online features), we will update this page before the change takes effect.
