Who we are
Jamaican Recipes is a recipe app featuring 100+ authentic Jamaican recipes — from ackee & saltfish to rum cake — published by Hemiogenic Interactive LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles your information.
What we collect
Nothing. Jamaican Recipes does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
Data stored on your device
The following are stored only in local storage on your own device: your name and taste preferences from the welcome questions, your saved (favourite) recipes, your cook history and cooking streak, badges you earn, and any reviews, ratings or cook’s notes you write. They never leave your phone, and we cannot see them. You can erase all of it at any time from You → Delete all my data, and uninstalling the app also removes it.
Notifications
If you start a cooking timer, the app may ask permission to show a local notification when the timer finishes. These notifications are generated entirely on your device for your own timers — no data is sent anywhere, and you can decline or disable the permission at any time in your phone’s settings.
Internet access
All recipes, photos, and features are bundled inside the app and work fully offline. The app does not send your data to any server. (Dish and ingredient photos are AI-generated illustrations included in the app.)
Third parties
We do not share data with third parties, because there is no data to share. The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or social SDKs.
Children
Jamaican Recipes is suitable for all ages. Because no data is collected from anyone, no data is collected from children.
