What Owe Mi is — and is not
Owe Mi, operated by Hemiogenic Interactive LLC ("we", "us"), is a private record book for goods you give out on trust. It records what a customer took, what they paid, and what they still owe.
Your book, your phone
Owe Mi keeps your records in the app's local storage on your device. There is no Owe Mi account and no Owe Mi cloud — we never receive your customer list or your balances. That also means the records are yours to protect: if you lose the phone, uninstall the app, or clear its data without a backup, the book is gone and we cannot recover it. Use the export and backup options before changing phones.
Your responsibility for what you record
You are responsible for the accuracy of every entry, and for whether you give goods on trust at all. Owe Mi records a decision you have already made; it does not vet customers, score them, or advise you.
Reminders and other people's information
The reminder feature composes a message that you review and send yourself through WhatsApp or your own messaging app. You choose whether to send it, to whom, and how often. You are responsible for holding customer names and numbers lawfully, for keeping reminders civil and honest, and for complying with any local rules on contacting people about money owed. Harassment or threats are not acceptable use.
Acceptable use
Use Owe Mi for lawful record-keeping only. No fraud, no intimidation, no publishing someone's debts, no unlawful lending.
Price
Owe Mi is free. There are no in-app purchases and no paywall in this version. If that ever changes, any paid feature would be sold under the app store's billing terms and announced before it takes effect.
No warranty / liability
Owe Mi is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for money you fail to collect, for disputes with your customers, for decisions you make based on entries in the app, or for records lost from your device.
Changes
We may update these terms and will post the new version at this address before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
