Who we are
Sabbath Daily is published by Hemiogenic Interactive LLC ("we", "us"). It is an independent app and is not an official publication of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Contact: support@hemiogenic.com.
Data we collect: none
Sabbath Daily does not collect, receive or store any of your personal information. The app is completely free: no purchases, no sign-up, no login, no ads, no analytics and no online database. The devotionals, Bible study topics and the King James Bible are all built into the app.
What stays on your phone
- Location. If you allow it, the app reads your approximate location to calculate sunset for the Sabbath countdown. The calculation happens on your phone; your location is never sent anywhere. You can choose a city instead.
- Your journal and Bible notes (prayer requests, bookmarks, highlights) and your reading streak and settings, stored in the phone's normal app storage.
- Reminders are scheduled on the phone itself; no notification server is used.
- Listen uses your phone's own text-to-speech voice.
Sharing
If you share a verse image or back up your journal, the share sheet sends it where you choose, from your own apps. Nothing is sent by us.
Deleting your data
Open Settings → Erase all data on this phone, or uninstall the app, to remove everything stored on your phone. Because nothing is stored on our side, there is nothing for us to delete.
Children
The app is meant for adults and teenagers; parents can read the family-worship stories aloud with their children. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We will post any update to this policy at this address before it takes effect.
