You can delete your Tek It account and its data at any time. There are two ways to do it.
1. From inside the app (fastest)
- Open Tek It and go to your Profile.
- Tap Settings, then Delete my account.
- Confirm. Your account, listings, photos and messages are removed.
2. By email request
If you have already uninstalled the app, email support@hemiogenic.com from the address on your account and put "Delete my Tek It account" in the subject. We action requests within 30 days and confirm by reply.
What gets deleted, and what is kept

Two rows need explaining. A chat has two sides — we cannot delete a message out of someone else's inbox, so we detach your identity from it instead. And where someone has reported a listing or a user, we keep that report so the same problem cannot simply be re-registered.
No money is involved
Tek It never handles payments. Items are given away or paid for directly between people, so deleting your account does not move, refund, or affect any money.
Backups
Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before those backups roll over, after which it is gone.
